I remember when Pat Skerry was thought of as a great hire at Towson. But he apparently has not been able to recruit and they are just bad this year.
That's really surprising, with their shiny new arena, successful FCS football program, and proximity to Baltimore and Philadelphia.I remember when Pat Skerry was thought of as a great hire at Towson. But he apparently has not been able to recruit and they are just bad this year.

What does Mason have to offer (other than conference affiliation) that Towson doesn't?

Wanted to respond to this, but thought it would be better in a more Hewitt focused thread.Nothing really, all im saying is that IF he manages to roll off a 20 win season, im for it. Let him have his 5th. ... I do believe there is a middle ground.
Another name I thought of, Bobby Hurley. Currently at u of buffalo.
Thatz really cute....can he build a program currently in the ashes is the real concern.Would be fun to see him and brother Dan going head to head each season.

Only question is whether he'll need a stop at the A10 level on his way up the ladder. At this point Buffalo to Mason feels a lateral move.
