Nate Langley is one of my all-time top-5 players at Mason. I would have loved to see him go up Allen Iverson. Nate would have easily held his own.

There are not too many Patriots that were as fun and jaw-dropping to watch other than Nate Langley.

Do you recall Mason defeating Colorado here (Nate vs. Chauncey Billups)?

This was also a homecoming of sorts for Joe Harrington, who left Mason for the Colorado job. I was never a fan, so I was happy to see him leave. I just wish we had replaced him with somebody better than Ernie Nestor.

Actually, Rick Barnes replaced him.

Back to the thread title, i.e. Ian:

Boyd is currently ranked (top 500) in 4 Kenpom categories:
  • 103rd in offensive rating (126+), highest on the team
  • 64th in low turnover rate (8%, best on the team)
  • 213th in defensive steal rate (3.1%, highest on the team)
  • 312th in ft % (80%, second to Otis on the team)

Yikes, I forgot all about the buffer year between Harrington and Nestor. I always wondered how good we could have been under Barnes had he stayed for an entire recruiting cycle. I met up with him at a TV conference in Chicago a few years ago, and he said Mason was the best job he ever had. I told him he should have stayed longer.

Great game and match up. Too bad there was the snowstorm, so the crowd was pretty sparse. I would have loved to see Nate in Coach L's scrambled defense. Quickest hands Mason has had in my time following the team.

Pearson is still the #1 most entertaining in my book, followed by Peterson. Peterson, though, had a tendency to be a d!ck sometimes...

I've got to say the Pearson/Mike Mo combo was pretty good.

By the way, I'm not talking about necessarily on the court.

Also, I wasn't around for the Nate Langley era...I start with George Evan's senior season.

Was at that game. If I recall it was a noon tip off. Went with my buddy Costa and remember being extremely hungover. Haha

Okay, based on the newly posted Vine of Temara, he is now officially the most entertaining GMU player I have seen. As GMUTom alluded to in that thread, there are just some things you just can't un-see... Thank goodness there are uniform standards, otherwise I'm not sure what we would see him wear on the court.

Thank goodness his shorts are bigger than Otis's!

If you have a problem with my posts, then why don't you just use the "ignore" button or just stop reading them?

Because you have a lot that you contribute to the boards, I've ignore plenty of others. Why do you have such an immature response? Are you a robot?

By how you are currently posting, you must literally be siting at your computer, 24-7, with windows open for twitter and every active thread and just posting links non stop.

All I'm asking for is a little more restraint in what you think is worth posting, so there aren't 10 threads with unread posts every 10 minutes. Perfect example, you making multiple posts to recreate twitter conversations on the boards.
