Will it all have the Nike swoosh branded on it? Because if not, I don't want it.
I hope so.

Frankly gmu wouldn't be anything without the final 4. I heard the final four was equivalent to 260 million in publicity. Many more millions in merchandise sales. No one said the RAC was over the top, we said it is too big for just the basketball teams.
And this is a waste of money by UCF.

If other sports could provide similar type of return then great, but they can't so give everything to the basketball team.
If they want the JC, anything give it to them. Kinda kidding.
1.) It brought in nowhere near a million in merchandise, let alone many millions. It brought in somewhere around $175,000 more than expected, not all of which goes to Mason.Frankly gmu wouldn't be anything without the final 4. Just when you think you've seen it all, UCF is building a lazy river, hot tub and patio area to lure recruits.

The kind of players who would pick their school based on a lazy river are not the kind of players I want at Mason
I'm pretty sure the lazy river is just foreplay until they reach the hoes in the hot tub.

2.) $260 million in publicity does not mean $260 in any sort of tangible return. Certainly not enough to justify turning a $50 million dollar building over to the team for exclusive use.
Now what I will say is 2 articles say we raised $130 million in donations after that run. It seems high but if this is true and a slice of that did not go towards a practice facility, something went way wrong.
Publicity to a school that no one heard of outside of Virginia was huge. It brought me to Mason from NJ and I'm sure many others. Basketball rebuilt Mason. Mason would still be community college 2.0 without the final four. Winning programs seem to understand the importance of being over the top. It lures 18 year olds! I don't think the program needs the RAC. But why has it taken so freaking long to have a dedicated practice facility.
tied of excuses. I donated what I could. The administration needs to get this shit done yesterday.
Boy, you really have a high opinion of the school you decided to go to.
You've been arguing for that exact thing to happen for weeks now.I don't think the program needs the RAC.
Probably true.I'm pretty sure the lazy river is just foreplay until they reach the hoes in the hot tub.

You miss quoted me. They don't need it to perform better. they should have because it will improve recruitingYou've been arguing for that exact thing to happen for weeks now.
And no one said publicity wasn't a big deal for the school. I said it wasn't enough to warrant signing over an entire student center to the team that would force construction of another one somewhere on campus.
You just miss quoted me. Hey don't need it, but they should have its it will help the program
I hope so.
What are you going to do with all the empty space?

Build an EXTREMELY lazy river.
