I think the real test for us tonight will be how we handle their pressure. If we struggle and play passively like we did against Loyola's press and traps, we could lose this game by 25. Hartwell, Greene and Johnson need to attack their pressure without turning it over, and we need all hands on deck to crash the boards. If we defend the 3, limit turnovers, win the rebounding battle and shoot 50% from behind the arc, I like our chances.
Agree on all. More specifically, in order to win this evening I think Mason will need to:
(1) hit at least 12 3's,
(2) allow UMD < 25% of available offensive rebounds,
(3) have less than 10 TO's,
(4) hold UMD to < 25% shooting from "3" and < 45% from "2", and
(5) shoot > 50% from the field overall.
