• Playing the so called "BLM National Anthem"
• Players protesting the national anthem
• The on court "bumper sticker style" political messages
• The political messages on the warm up shirts
• Social media posts by official AD accounts

Every day brings the same question: What are we doing here? If what ByGeorge says is true, and Brad has not intentions of letting Paulsen go, then what is our end goal? I'm sure the answer is something along the lines of "Build a Championship team, while excelling in the classroom, etc." but the actions; or lack there of, don't match. I would say that this program is falling into irrelevance, but the fact is that we are already there.

If we are not building with the intention and expectation of competing for a championship, then what is the point of even playing, and why should anyone give any time and/or money to this "cause". It brings no real joy.

Preach. This is essentially what I will be bringing up to several members of the AD. Its great to have nice kids who graduate, politically aware, etc. At the end of the day I want the program to win and compete at the highest level of the A10. If that isn't what is on top of mind for everyone, give me a call when it is. In addition, they could have also not joined the A10. There was decent slow and steady progress up until January 2018, but since then it's been just circling the same block and no real "next steps" that we thought were inevitable.

Of course, as much as we might think that it isn't top of mind, I'm sure it is. From my understanding everyone loves that Dave does these sorts of things but at the end of the day it's about the court product winning. I also think as much as we think Brad may not want to let Dave go and will kick and scream, if he really liked him, Dave would have had another extension by now even though he hasn't earned it. Of course with covid he could look to lame duck, but I'd put that at less than 10% chance.

Last night Mason played a super young and talented vcu team. Mason has guys who have played a lot of D1 minutes and yet they still were not able to out work, out muscle and use their experience to push the younger team around. There is a significant talent gap, and vcu is only probably a middle of pack team at this point. If this is what we are all seeing, I'd be hard pressed to believe that Brad doesn't see this.

I don't think a decision has been made yet, but more losses definitely make the choice more obvious.

you must be as bad of a psychic as you are at getting the AD to let your flyers get to fans...

1. I don't heckle the players
2. I don't curse at ALL
3. I never yell anything personal towards player or coach. If "Fire Paulsen" is too much for you I really hope you don't go on the internet (have your grandkids showed you it yet?)
3. If a coach making 6 figures that has sucked the majority of 6 years can't take being boo'd or yelled at then he can go back to Williams College
4. I put up with my $$$$$$$$$$ each year and can boo whenever the heck I feel like it. Just like lil Brensy come tell me to shut up or just put up with it
5. I talk to the AD (they listen) but seemingly do nothing about it.
6. Mason has about 200 fans left (maybe?) in the area. Don't be like that crazy lady on Twitter and call everyone who doesn't clap and cheer for shitty basketball every week a "fan". If you want something to change (we all want to win) sitting on our hands and smiling during this bad basketball era is not going to do it.
7. Mason has changed a ton since you went there, they are becoming less mediocre in all fields (law, degree value, on campus infrastructure, wokeness) if they want to ruin their flagship sports program than damn right they are going to hear it from fans who love the team.

I can't speak for the other smattering of fans that joined in "Fire Paulsen" yesterday but if the AD opens his ears in an empty arena I am trying to drone out the Jack Strops and Swim Mom's of the world who just love going on date night to watch good kids play bad basketball and are fine with on court product. I truly believe the AD and his staff think nothing is wrong and fans are happy because of people like you and her.

I don't agree with heckling the coach during the game at all, but any fan who buys the product, and isn't satisfied, reserves the right to criticize the product. We are critical because this means something to us. We do want something better. For the vast majority of fans/donors, this basketball program isn't a charity, there is expectation that comes with a time/financial commitment. This isn't the YMCA youth league, it's a business where the score matters.

And with your idiotic logic, I guess you have never ever showed displeasure with a referee? Because you aren't a basketball officiating expert?

This board has already done the work and has coalesced around Tony Skinn for head coach. If you want me to draft up a proposal about why he is the best candidate to succeed Paulsen (who should be fired after this season), I'm down to do it...I'll send it right over to the AD.
