Our bigs aren't agreesive enough on the block. They wanna shoot fadeaways. Then when they try to go aggressive they get hurt.

You would never see that from Will Thomas and that's why you will never see the success from this team that you saw from Will Thomas'.

Definitely way too many fadeaways.

Paulsen got Muscala to come to Bucknell but has failed to get consistently tough big men like Thomas or Lewis to come to Mason.

it’s so obvious too. We have all the experience in the world but vcu is just so much more talented that even their youthful talent is better than our experience. It’s ridiculous how much of a gap it is.

I do love how much fight they have in them despite the disparity. I give them credit for playing hard, but vcu’s speed and athleticism is obviously far superior.

Biggest problem with Paulson, he just cant find any A10 quality players, or Mason is just not an attractive option for better players. Probably both. Then is Paulson even a decent coach. His record says no. I'm not sure basktball is even important to the University. How is constantly losing acceptable.

Terribly coached game. Our offense is one of the worst I’ve seen in D1. 0 motion. This was 100% a winnable game, our game plan just sucked. Only Bones was in double figures tonight.

Wtf were we doing at the end there? Late foul? 0 cohesion on offense? No plan? Sounds like a Dave Paulsen coached game. He has to go. Show the few remaining fans that basketball is a priority and highly paid mason staff will be held accountable for failing to get any sort of results.

it’s just getting tough to watch. It’s not even good/enjoyable basketball. Might start taking bets on what point we collapse each game to stay interested. Might not buy tickets to the rest of the home games this season, I can watch this shit show at home in my underwear with an IV of Makers so I can at least have fun. Bad basketball all around.

Our players aren’t the problem tonight. The talent is there at most spots. Just can’t figure out a way to play to our own strengths and show it.

This vcu team is a sad shell of their 2011 team and we still couldn’t beat them with Paulsen’s most experienced team. That should be very instructive for Edwards.

Hartwell really shouldn't be in the game when they need to find stops...put him in when the second line comes in for a few minutes to see if you can get him going for a few 3s and then pull him. It's ridiculous that he's been out there two games in a row and completely unable to guard whoever they're asking him to guard.
