All this team does is dribble drive with guys that aren’t nearly talented enough to pull it off.

the conundrum. Not talented enough to dribble drive, but almost nobody on this team can hit an outside jumper with any measure of consistency. And we don't have any real big man to back someone down and go to the hoop.

So, pick your poison. Any of these freshmen have any shooting chops? Put them in and tell them to start lofting up some 3s, IDK.

I don't get Paulsen, Grayer is the only guy hitting shots and he hasn't found the floor in the second half.

I have been watching college hoops for a a long time. I am trying to think of a 3 year senior starter regressing more than Otis for any team ever. I am struggling to think of one.

I don’t think people here realize how abnormal this is.

Gotta wonder if he has some kind of nagging injury or something not bad enough to stop him from playing, but nagging enough to affect his shooting or burst. I would hate to assume it's an off-court issue.

His burst doesn’t seem to be an issue. His shooting has been abhorrent though.

JDS has played 1 minute of basketball and is 1-1 from 3. I mean maybe his defense is absolute trash, otherwise I’m not sure why you wouldn’t at least give him a run and set some screens for him and see if he can hit a few shots.

This team is just flat out bad. It’s total chaos on offense, they have absolutely no rhythm. Constantly turning the ball over with lazy passes, soft drives to the basket, dribbling off their feet. I’m home for Thanksgiving and my dad goes “what the hell are they doing?” No clue.

Our freshman PG is playing markedly better than our senior, Pre-season A10 First Team PG - has anyone asked Otis what he thinks the issues are? Mar has no clue what he’s doing on the court and I’m not even sure it’s his fault, the addition of Rueter seems to have completely thrown him off. Honest question, would this team be better without Rueter? Not saying he’s a terrible player but I think the coaching staff has put too many eggs in the Rueter basket. Our post game was better with three freshmen last year, on both ends, and our entire offensive chemistry was better.

The way this team is playing we’re looking at bottom 4 in the A10. What an utter disappointment.

It’s a legit question to ask. He’s a good player, but he’s the only thing that’s new and we went from being pretty good in the A-10 to bottom 4.

Only hope for this team this year is for Otis to stop trying to be a facilitator, there’s not much the facilitate to. The team goal every game going forward should be to get him going offensively.

This is so remarkable. The team is without question worse than last year. It’s not just Reuter, but also the sophomores who are getting more time. The team is fundamentally totally different than last year. Right now we are very, very bad.

I don’t understand the defense we are trying to run, not sure the players do either.
I have watched every minute this season and the amount of easy baskets we give up off of drives in unbelievable.
