Back on the front of ESPN college basketball page... nice to see that again. :D

Oklahoma State falls in Charleston Classic
George Mason beat the Cowboys by 3 thanks to a couple "and-ones" by Shevon Thompson in overtime. The Patriots are 2-0 vs major conference teams (also beat Ole Miss) but 0-2 vs non-major conference teams this season.

Yes sir!!! Wasn't able to tune into OT but enjoyed coming on here to get the good news. It's gonna be fun to be a Mason fan again.

Wow - I still can't process this - I would have never expected that having a new coach and a lot of Freshmen playing that we would string two wins like this together. This is solid. Improvements are visible between games and we come back from being down to win - despite some lingering mistakes in turn overs?

Sweet Judas Priest. I am already drinking in my office today.

Reporting back from the RAT. Yes they do have ESPNU although it wasn't tuned to any of their TVs at a little after 1 when I arrived. Not very busy and just 1 other person at the bar watching the game. So the bad news is that we don't have that much of an active fan base on campus on Friday afternoons. Probably not that big of a surprise.

The good news---well, I don't have to tell you what that was! SEC, Big 12, is it too much to hope that we'll be able to add the ACC to our collection by Sunday night? (Probably yes, but if it weren't an NFL Sunday, maybe we'd get some coverage).

Give it time. But I will tell you - for the next game - the men have no pressure. If they just play as they are coached and keep the minds about them and enjoy the game - they could just win it!

I still keep looking at the score thinking there must have been some mistake on the scoreboard... Mason has more points than Oklahoma State? What a win though... very nice

Keeping winning, and that'll change. Frankly, after word gets out about these two wins, I bet the next game has a bigger turnout. People love a winner.

Coaching has made a huge difference for this team and it has shown in all four games they have played this year. Looks like the team has a solid foundation upon which they are building from one game to the next. I don't expect the team to win the championship (unless we have LBS) , but do expect to see a competitive game. I am happy to be a patriots fan after the past 4.5 years of absolute mess.

The team doesn't have to win every game...just be proud and competitive...the rest will take care of itself.

Nice win and good luck in the final! Go Patriots.
