I haven't been around much, so obviously I missed something or I forget something from last year - what happened to Marko's face that he has to wear the protective mask?

Usually it's because of a broken nose. Given Royal's concussion, I wonder if they collided in practice.

He wore it in the open scrimmage which was pre-Royal's concussion. Speaking of which--hope Royal is able to return fairly soon as we are thin (in every meaning of the term). Dixon isn't giving us many good minutes when he subs for Shevon. Not surprising as we likely would have red-shirted him if we hadn't been forced to use him. Unfortunately, one of his strengths is open 15-20 ft jumpers, not mixing it up underneath.

I agree about Dixon. He needs more seasoning. I feel the se way about Murrell and Holloway. Murrell hasn't adjusted as quickly as Otis and Grayer.

Does anyone else think that Otis is playing with so much confidence partly because he's starting alongside Moore? OSU really denied Otis the ball in the second half and Moore stepped right in to being the PG and facilitator.

I did notice that Otis started to get a little rattled with the pressure, but what was more amazing was how Moore took the pressure off the youngster and led us to victory. He single- handedly controlled the overtime. Whether it was a bucket, dish, rebound, block or steal he made it happen. That's veteran leadership! Playing Otis and Moore in the back court makes it difficult for teams to press us. This team is starting to remind me of that 2006 final four team. well a guy can hope!!!!

I made the mistake of perusing the Okie State board ... lemme just say, if that's how you act when you're in a "power" conference, count me the F out.

What a bunch of nasty, spoiled douchenozzles.

Our board was more positive than theirs even during the Reign of Error.

Part of the reason that I enjoy mid-major hoops.

I still pull for my power conference alma mater (who lost to a "lesser" team last night) like mad, but mid-majors are hungrier, more humble and (much by necessity) value the regular season more.

And yes, less whiny when their teams rightfully lose.
