what a gutsy performance. the end of regulation play (and not getting the ball to Thompson) + Marko leaving his man up 3 and allowing a 3 to tie, made me think we wasted the opportunity, but just wow.

Yep makes it that much easier to coach young guys with encouraging wins like these. You can see how hard these kids work already to improve...puts a smile on my face to see them get the result.

Grayer had his coming out party yesterday, but your point stands. This guy has "obvious, you-know-it-early-in-his-freshman-year, Luke Hancock/Cam Long going to be a 4 year starter and contend for all conference in his final 2 years, face of the program type player" written all over him.

Good thing he is so tall given what you have written all over him . Great game again by these kids. I loved seeing the comeback and even when we got up 5 and made a few mistakes to allow them to tie it in regulation, the kids did not lose their confidence. Terrific win number 2 against solid competition.

Maybe, maybe not. Freshmen are freshmen and they can look awful as quickly as they can look good. An injury to Shevon is catastrophic, just a lot can happen.

I'll say I like what I'm seeing, though (I'm like a battered girlfriend, I'm scared to believe good things can happen)
