Game 34: CBI Game, Loyola University, Wednesday, March 15th, 7 PM, NO TV

Herndon

All-Conference
Meh, bad end to a good season.

Grayer and Otis as Juniors will be the team leaders, Kier looks like he'll be a guy, and we shall see how the freshmen develop.

I expect a slight step backwards next season (due to having no seniors), followed by a big jump the season after.

I like the trajectory we're on.

I kinda think everyone was in such a high after Pittsburg we were all wanting the season to continue. But please no more third tier tourney. The reward isn't worth the risk

Hey Brad how about giving all the folks who attended a refund, what the hell was that. I know everyone loves Paulson but come on, what a waste of 50K.

If they think Revalo, Dixon, Murrell, Abrahms, Temara are A 10 players than good luck.

Lets hope Marr and Wilson are off the charts, they are going to need a ton of help.

I get it , 2o wins is really very good for this team, I'm trying to figure out how they did it.

Everyone needs to relax. The right team is moving on, the one that wanted to be in this tournament. The only thing terrible tonight was the decision to continue to play this season. It's clear the kids were done after the A10 tournament. What needs to happen now is this caged gym need to be built so the players can ball 24/7. Moore and Jenkins can now prepare to continue their careers in basketball.

Yep - they had a good year. Unfortunately, they just had a terrible night tonight. Happened a few times this year - Houston, St. Louis. Mt. St. Mary's....

Disappointed - but the team is moving in the right direction.

To the guy in the green room who took 7 cookies (literally), try showing some class. I'd expect that from a vcu fan but really?

Hindsight is 20/20 and all, but $50,000 towards the Cage Gym instead of $50,000 for a game almost nobody wanted sure sounds good right now.

It really isn't $50k. After you factor in the ticket sales tonight and the rev sharing the CBI is doing it could end up being a wash and def not $50k. Also I think the caged gym is funded already and just needs to be built right.

Give Loyola credit. They came out ready to play. This was their Super Bowl. From their view, they got a play a team in their backyard who is from some big time conference. They wanted to prove they could hang with us. And our season ended in Pittsburgh.

Can we just agree that third rate tournaments where we have to pay to play in isn't a wise use of funds?

No, Phase I is funded. That's just turning the courts from rubber to hardwood and redoing the locker room in the arena. The majority is Phase II which isn't even close to being funded if what we're hearing is true.
