3 or 4 months ago the A-10 offered the seats behind the baskets for all sessions of the Tournament at buy one get one free, effectively $20 per seat per session (when all the Ticketmaster fees were included), So I wonder how many of those were sold - I paid $120 for all games except play in.

So long as our dream of winning 4 straight and cutting down the nets Sunday is alive, might as well root for terrible teams to win their conference tournament so that we can avoid Dayton.

Currently we are 15-16 with an RPI of 201, but would be 19-16 with wins over RPI 16 and 22/81 most likely and would receive a bump if we win the A10 tournament.

There are 3 teams that would in all likelihood be below us for the first 4 as 16 seeds - LIU Brooklyn, and the winners from the SWAC and MEAC. Just need one more terrible team to run the table from a shithole conference so we can be a 15 seed playing on Thursday or Friday.

Colgate (#192) could maybe wrap this up tonight with an upset over Bucknell.

Save your comments about looking ahead, never gonna happen, etc. I don't play for the team and this is just for fun/to provide some rooting interest for championship week.

Also, given that both URI and SBU are locks, lets root for the little guys to steal bids since virtually all of the bubble teams are BCS under-achievers.

Well, I predicted a sweet 16 loss to Virginia this year. So I think I have set the bar for looking too far ahead.

NO CHANCE - would have to be a 12 or 13 seed to meet a #1 seed in the sweet 16. What's far more likely/realistic is that we beat them in the round of 64 and become the first every 16 seed to beat a 1 seed.

People showed up to games that counted. IE. Homecoming, vcu, last game of season. If just 50% of the crowd we usually get come that's 2k ppl. Plently to fill out a few lower sections.

My only concern is which trophies do we move to make room for our national championship trophy. We need a bigger trophy case ASAP. The national championship is on April 2nd, just 3 and a half weeks away and we still have a trophy case we bought and put together from Ikea.

I've been emailing Brad Edwards for the last two weeks, no response. I sent him a link to some really nice trophy cases I saw on Amazon. I just hope he took the time to check it out.

Actually today's Post said Stadium was carrying the game. #597 Fios Fairfax which usually carries Stadium didn't list either game last night when I checked, however. Although this wouldn't be the first time the game wasn't listed, yet it appeared.

Great info. Like it, or not, G Mas hoops attendance has always been a joke. Even during the successful Larranaga years it was challenging.
