Don’t care if we win. This is pathetic.
Meh... It's hard to watch a team with no bench just run out of steam in tue second half late in the season. But that was still a win. A better way to look at it is that at least they were able to build a 20 point lead that made it possible to sustain a home team(with lots of help from the refs)'s run

I lost a lot of respect for St. Joe's during that game. I saw a lot of dirty play go unnoticed. There was a very intentional elbow that flew past Kier's face from Oliva with a few minutes left. I'm surprised Dave didn't have them look at it. And obviously they were doing something to Otis to piss him off. So glad we pulled that one out. St. Joe's is now on my 2nd tier of rivals in the A-10.

Hahahahaha, I actually feel bad for St. Joe's, especially on senior night.

Was there a single person who did not expect us to blow that lead? 20 pts this time, it's like we are trying to out do ourselves each time out.

Terrible terrible execution down the stretch. Ridiculous foul on the perimeter (Greene I think) early in the shot clock, with a lead, with under 2 minutes to go. Boyd fouls Funk on a rushed 3 (makes all 3 FT's). Missed front end of one and one. Went 1 of 2 on next two FT's. 10 second violation. Too many turnovers by Kier. Ughhhhhh, wish I could enjoy this buzzer beater more, but I can't.

Silver lining - we have the talent to keep getting these leads on teams and we are doing this practically without Grayer, and we still have an outside shot at the 4 seed, with a more realistic shot at finishing in the top half.

What the hell happened?!? Was following ESPN feed and score updated to 79-76 with no description of what happened. Didn’t get to see the game but looks like a carbon copy of most of our road games recently. Play well in the first half then forget what defense is in the second half? Goanar looks like he had a good game from the box score. Glad to see a win, might have to eat chipotle for good luck every game day now.

Did Otis get pissed about the flop by the ST Joe's player after Funk's 3rd FT, trying to draw a foul on Boyd? That was my best guess as to what it was, but not positive.

:cigar:Easy win had it all the way. :cigar:

Good grief. Can we not forget how to play defense, bring the ball across, be out of position when it matters. Jesus. Survive and move on. Big win and that’s what matters.

Otis ran into 3 St Joe players and bowling pined them to the ground. The ball rolls out to Boyd and he hits a three pt heave.

Something happened early where Otis shoved someone back, so they were after him from the get go because that was very unlike him.

Lol sounds comical and epic at the same time, can’t wait to see the video highlights.

Probably playing head games with him since they know everything runs through Otis. Trying to get him off his game.

For guys who have played 40-60 college games in their career, there are times we look like we have 5 freshmen playing opening night in November. good lord.

Any win is a good win

Not sure. After Oliva fouled out, Otis was talking to the ref with Kier at the ft line and looked like he motioned a forearm towards the ref. Maybe he got hit before that inbounds where they had to separate the two moments before.

Boyd's shot going in was justice because no way we deserved to lose that game.

Saint Joe's spent the last 2 minutes fouling us to stop the clock and they still shot 7 more FTs than we did.

The 2 late fouls Newkirk was given were particularly egregious. Otis didn't even touch him on his and-1, then he ran right into Kier on their last possession and Greene got called for the foul.

Our guys were trying NOT to foul and still kept getting called for fouls. That was a terrible whistle in the second half after they let both teams get after it in the first half. Calling two different games like that drives me nuts. Be consistent already.

Anyhow, we're the 6 seed right now because we own the tiebreaker against Dayton and Richmond.

And we yet again get a chance to get back to .500 at home Saturday against UMass. Gotta get over the hump and make a run for the double bye in the last two games. Pretty insane that a top-4 seed is still squarely in play for this team.
