Dear #MasonNation,

I want to thank you for the enthusiasm, energy and excitement you've brought to EagleBank this season. Your support is a major reason why we're in the midst of a four-game winning streak and playing some of our best basketball of the season.

The Homecoming atmosphere last Saturday was one of the best gameday environments I have been a part of in my 23 years of coaching. It was a thrill to see the student section packed all the way to the rafters and feel the floor shake as we closed out the game in the second half.

This Saturday, Rhode Island comes to Fairfax in one of our most important games of the season. The Rams are a top-50 team with exceptional talent, and we will need your full support as we look to win our fifth game in a row.

A near capacity crowd is expected and there are a limited number of tickets still available. It is my hope we can #FillEBA and create one of the most outstanding atmospheres in college basketball.

Our players, coaches and staff are extremely grateful for your attendance at home games, support on the road and the encouraging messages you continue to send on social media.

Now, let's make Saturday a rowdy environment that we won't soon forget.

Good. We really need this one and the crowd can help turn this into a "deflated" game rather than a "bounce back" game. Many fans have really put the cart before the horse... With our remaining schedule it's conceivable we could finish with a losing record in the A10. Beating URI guarantees .500, and with Duquesne looming, we can all but lock up our first winning season Saturday.

LOL - I think he was joking. Doing it later might mean in his dorm room and that might be awkward with the RA and his roommates (who all come to my house once a month anyway) there in the room while I work a bottle of Titos.
