A couple of comments-
the 2nd warning on URI's bench was not on Hurley, it was on the assistant. Hurley had been warned already and if it was on him, that would have resulted in a T.
Last play with Grayer, he was supposed to get the ball back after throwing it to half court. However, this is where our basketball IQ (or lack there of), came into play. URI played it brilliantly by not picking up full court. I wonder if they were planning on fouling around midcourt. None of our guys realized they should come back and get the ball in bounds.
URI typically shoots in the low 60s from the free throw line. For all our mistakes and untimely rebounding, if URI shoots they way they normally do from the line, we win.
Students....decent turnout. Maybe my expectations were too high. Coming off of Homecoming where they packed the place and this being a Saturday afternoon game with a TON on the line, I thought both ends would be filled. I'm at a loss as to what to do. Next Wed I don't expect much, but I hope they prove me wrong
