Offense went ice cold in last 9 minutes... when Mason was up 61-49... Mason last 12 pts were all FTs except for one layup... lol.

Out rebounded Fordham 44 to 24 and nearly lost... have some things to definitely clean up as teams above us would have taken better advantage

Richmond is a much more sound team and we cannot play this way against them and expect to win

Really pleased with this season - definite continued trajectory of improvement. Such a difference.

On a better note than my prior two posts, both La Salle and St. Bonaventure both lost today. Mason is currently tied for 5th place in the A-10 (technically 6th I believe since Bonnies have tiebreaker over us via head to head win).

Big game against Richmond at home... chance to sneak into a 4 seed before the A10 tourney is certainly possible IMO if we can beat Richmond in the upcoming game at home

Richmond doesn't gamble nearly as much as Fordham does on defense.

Richmond is huge for us. Does anyone see 3 more wins on the sched? Tough stretch coming up next week.

The atmosphere was great. The players were pumped. The players going up in the stands after the game further cements the team with the rest of the student body. In the past there has often been a disconnect.

The Green Machine is still by far the best band in college sports. There were 4 cello players and 9 violinists! But it's almost like they're too good. The students were chanting the "oh, oh, oh, oh" chant by the White Stripes and were getting going then "Living on a Prayer" started and killed the student spontaneous cheer.

Before the season I said the season would be a success if we simply weren't in the play-in game. Now, do we even think about winning a game (or two?) in the A10T?

I wouldn't count these guys out against anyone, but if we've finally turned a corner at home, those are your three wins right there: Richmond, URI, Duq.

Can you think of a time there were more Mason people in EBA for a game? Sure, we sold out vs. UVA, but 1/4th of the people where were in orange and blue. Minus a few rows behind the visitors bench, it was all green and gold!

Many of our old Mason-JMU sell-outs had tons of JMU fans, but still an unbelievable atmosphere. The Wichita St game in '06 when the F4 banner was raised was the most Mason-heavy crowd I've seen in the Pat Dome. Unfortunately was not able to attend today to see if it compares.

But, the biggest Mason crowd I've ever been a part of was over UConn in the Verizon Center.

Maybe I should have said "that I personally have attended at EBA." I don't know the answer to this, but what is our largest attendance for a non DMV school? Wichita St? I know Ohio State came here in the 90s. Anybody know?

We had over 9,000 for Northeastern for homecoming in the 2010-2011 season (not a sell out, but close to one: I think it was 9,311). That's the largest crowd I've seen for a non-DMV school.

Correction: It was senior night (ODU was homecoming that year). And the announced attendance was 9,366.

I feel like the Wich St game was a sell-out, with no closed-off sections. Something like 9800 people. Had to be 9000 Mason fans (or at least interested/curious Nova-ites who were rooting for Mason)

We had a pretty good crowd for the Mississippi State game, too, and we actually won that one: 9,094 announced attendance.
