"Jenkins is averaging 19.5 points and shooting 73.7 percent (14-19) over the past two games. He leads the A-10 in field goal percentage (.630) and is third in offensive reb/game (2.7)."

"Mason is t-1st the A-10 in 3-point percentage in league games (.400, 70-175). The Patriots shot 28.5 percent in league play in 2015-16.

Jaire Grayer is a big contributor to those improved shooting numbers. In conf. games, he is second in the A-10 in 3-point percentage (.500, 27-54) and t-3rd in 3pt FG made/game (2.5). He also is 10th in rebounding (6.6 rpg). He has scored 10+ points in nine of 11 A-10 games this season.

The Patriots are 14-4 when they outrebound their opponent this season and are 23rd nationally (1st in the A-10) in rebounding margin (+6.6). Mason has won the boards battle in seven of the past eight games."

According to Ticketmaster there are about 750 tickets left to be sold. Would be great to see a sellout.

I hope the season ticket holders come out. I hate seeing all the lower level seats empty. They should award Season ticket holders who make it to every game. Idk what the gift should be, but something.

I think they actually do. Years ago they had the machines you checked in at, now they just track ticket scans. I know I have a nice Tervis mug and some other items for game attendance over the years.

Today's Post says the game is being televised on NewsChannel 8. That would be 508 on FIOS-Fairfax County.

I don't remember that channel ever televising our games before.

Would love to see the place full of Mason fans tomorrow. I dont care if you are a student, an alumni, a fan, a kid, elderly. i dont care. just want to see the place full from start to finish. If you are in the Green or Gold room pregame, consider leaving said room at 5:45 so you can get to your seat by the time the team comes out and is introduced. This years team deserves that extra level of support.

This is also the kind of game that can help rebuild a fanbase. A big crowd, a win, a team on the rise, optimism in the air. If this is the first mason game you go to, or the first you've been to in a while, it's the kind that gets you to come back.

An official sellout is 9,840, including the seats in the corners that have not been available this season. The attendance for the vcu game this season was 7,780.

Also, we are now guaranteed one of the following:
A) A post season appearance or
B) a .500 season

At the beginning of the year, I think any of us would have said "that's a hugely successful season"
And IF the team had won the very winnable games against Mount St Mary's and SLU they would be sitting at 19-5 right now. Never expected the team to play this well this year, though still a tough schedule ahead.

Had Marquise not been about to pass out on the floor, we probably would have won our last game against SLU. The first game was just one of those inexplicable bad ones young teams play.
