MOMENTUM...so important. THIS SEASON IS A GIFT.

Imagine Paulsen recruiting if we had another "cellar" season. The whole speech of "I am turning around Mason and I need your help" looks 100% different if we're again in the bottom 4. At least now with recruits, there's something tangible to buy into with progress.

The reason we had 2011, was because we got a better selection of recruits to sell Mason to after 2006.

If you don't keep winning and building...then you might as well hire Hewitt or Dillard.............

You and Vurbel hit it spot on. My son goes to almost every game class schedule permitting. The Pikapps are going in strength with only one hiccup being they were stopped from bringing flags to EBA

Are there any type of NCAA regulations against flags and banners? I'd love to see some European style soccer shit during pregame and timeouts. Or even opponent free throws. I'd imagine if ASU students can stage someone giving birth in the student section then all bets are off.

Back in the day the fraternities brought their flags into the game. Now its verboten. Somehow we need to sneak them in.

Just back from the game.

We miss easy shots and don't crash the boards. Good effort at the end though.

Nicest fans I have ever seen. Maybe NoVa still retains some of its Southern culture

I take offense to the implication our conduct could only be the result of a Southern cultural influence. I think it's the other way around. ;)

Just look up the EBA policies or reach out to the Athletic Department and ask - then get something started!

Well I drunkenly stumbled into EBA on Saturday with my fraternities flag in my back pocket so it can't be that difficult with a little sobriety and forethought.

Flags and banners are not listed but it also says "prohibited items include but are not limited to" so knowing Mason they'd ask for you to stop waving them. Totally get it for the other 3/4ths of the arena but I think the student section should have a little more leeway during timeouts and other breaks that don't interfere with people watching. I know I'd rather stare at the back of flag than the back of someones head at half court as they watch a video monitor to figure out what ball the prize is behind.

On the plus side, Saturday made me realize how easy it will be to get my "Will Wade sits when he pees" banner into next years vcu game.

Per EagleBank Arena Policies on Banners and Signs:

"Banners and pep signs are allowed, provided they are hand-held, of reasonable size, can be stored beneath the seat, and do not block the view of other patrons. Any banner or sign containing profanity or objectionable material will be confiscated."

I guess offensive images are verboten then
