I love how you nitpick two totally random things and blame the team's shortcomings for it. Abram, who Mason won 20+ games with on the bench last year, yeah he was real valuable. And Tre Wood, a recruiting story you have no insight on.

All I said about Abrhams was if Lil Dave was gonna force him out, have a back plan. Which he didn't. If he stayed, he could been of some help this year.

Our coach doesn't win recruiting battles, he develops under the radar kids. We're in year 3 of that. Maybe in year 4 you'll stop blaming the coach for things he was never going to do.

Put Kier on Mobley and have Kier ghost him all second half. He should've had that be Kier's only responsibility on defense, nothing else, nothing.

How does a guy who already torched you for a million points in the first half, get so many open looks beyond the arc in the second half? It's just stupid.

Probably would have lost anyway, but give our guys a fighting chance. When we got the score to within 8, the next play after a timeout, it's MOBLEY who breaks our back with yet another open 3? That's just not good coaching.

Roster issues are one thing and can only be addressed in the off season. But we have so many things going against us and coaching/planning is all we have to lean on right now.

I am a Paulsen guy too. but the last 60 mins of basketball I watched has been on him IMO and it has been absolutely terrible.

Mason’s offense is so predictable. Otis dribbles the ball up; Mar/Calixte/AJ sets screen, pass to Kier, and swing the ball to Grayer to take the three.

Please stop expecting Otis to guard the 3-point shot. He has T-Rex arms.

What was it, our first four possessions of the game were pretty much unforced turnovers? Arrant pass, arrant pass, dribble off foot, dribble off knee...mind boggling. Watching the Bonnies run offense last night was a thing of beauty...almost every bucket had an assist something we haven't seen at Mason in years. I'm tired of being one of the worst teams nationally in assists, year after year after year.

Goanar Mar where have you gone? I'm really starting to feel Ian Boyd should have serisouly looked at those football scholarships, not sure if he will ever develop into a solid starter in the A-10. Bright spot was Justin kier who should have had at least 3 more assists if not for blown layups and to a lesser extent to Calixte who kept their big men in check for the most part.

At least the first 10 minutes of the game were good.

Not accurate. Mar is a recruiting win. He just failed to surround his cornerstone guys (Otis and Grayer) with support. Next year I fear they won't be in post season. And for that Lil Dave shoulder's a ton of blame. Yet some of you on here wanna give him a pass. Just like you probably did with The Virus. However, he could pull some magic and help his roster by getting some grad transfers.

I can't believe we've gone to insulting nicknames. I guess a four game losing streak will do that. Cool.

Even before transfers we were never going to have a senior on the team this year. When has Mason ever had a top tier team without seniors leading the way? This stretch is hard and frustrating, but if you can't see individual improvement and you can't see that these young guys getting so many minutes as freshman and sophomores is going to pay off in the future, maybe just take a break and check in on this team in November.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at how inept we are. How can you give up 49 points in a half? You know who their best players are and let you let them just go off. It's just plain sad. Offensively, we have Otis. Defensively, we have no one. What a great combination. Face it Patriots fans, we stink.

My complaints reach more towards next year. Otis and Jaire' final season. Two guys who were cornerstones of our so called rebuild, and both deserve to go dancing.

It's a problem to most to watch mistakes happen repeatedly. And then there's the slimy salesman pitch about trusting an unexplained process. Mistakes are gonna cost us fans, yes. But it's gonna hurt our two cornerstone guys more.

Some people, like yourself, want to forgive Lil Dave, and give him more time. Others just point out how he screwed up the roster delaying potential success another 3 -4 years. Surely Brad isnt gonna fire him. Atleast stop extending him.

Other than maybe Newman, explain to me how Abram, Dixon, Murrell, Temara, and Relvao make us a better team this year? Speaking of which, having some or all of these guys on the roster would not have made us that much more experienced this year either.

I will grant you Newman all day, especially after the shooting and defensive woes from our current set of guards. He would have been poised to play big minutes this season and possibly steal someone's starting role.
