That's kind of splitting hairs, but it was really nice to beat them in Richmond on senior night last year and we did finish ahead of them. I care more about that the win though, and we have a good shot tomorrow. Would love to get a little win streak going against vcu with the next game in Fairfax place will be packed.

To answer an earlier question, yes Silva can move. He can get out on the wing, trap and then rotate very quickly to not be beaten to the rack. He cuts off passing lanes and gets to the trap very quickly and makes it very difficult for G/W's to escape. He's very quick. He's also a load in the post, but does need to learn to go the other direction more effectively. He is making strides. As he goes we go. Simple as that. He is very good at spreading the floor and setting the P&R. Massive improvement over last year.

I see the key to the game is to make the 3's difficult. This is our D strength and it's been quite effective. Many teams looking for the 3 have gone through the shot clock.

I see the key to your game is to get Cayo hot from deep. It's going to take some very nice rotation and some good skip passes. It is going to be a good game. Very interesting to see the match ups play out and to see if our guys can keep your offense in check. Do that and win. Do it not and lose.

Also, how does it feel to talk ish about a vcu team that had as much turnover as they did, yet you got smacked in the same round of the a10 tournament as we did, the same round where you got smacked by 19 to a 4th seed st joes, yet we lost by 9 to the number 1 seed, which we were down 6 with less than a minute to go? Just a tip, and not the one you wish for every night, but don’t talk ish when your “facts” fall flat and you are not smart enough to know better. You are stupid. First of all, no, it's not two spots between them, it's three (in order for vcu to have become the five seed, they would have had to jump 3 spots, jumping two spots would have put them as the 6th).

Also, no, we had a total of 9 scholarship players on the team, one of which was sitting out as a transfer and was not available. We had 8 scholarship players total available, 4 of which had never played in a collegiate basketball game before (Greene, Calixte, AJ, Mar). That's the team that beat vcu in Richmond last year.

But that was last year, this is this year, and I don't really expect to win in Richmond on Saturday. But if I were a vcu fan, I wouldn't sleep on this Mason team either.
