I'm done replying to these two. I can't chat with any person who thinks like this, "Two spot differential.....the 6th and 7th seed in between us is two spots". That is pretty insane for an adult to think like that....

Also please excuse my misspellings, Swype and time are my enemy.

5th

6th

7th

8th

Take your finger and start at the "5th" - then count each time you move down.

5th to 6th is one

6th to 7th is two

7th to 8th is three

Oh my goodness.

So Cayo who doesn't play for us needs to do well in order for GMU to win?! I don't expect a ton of logic but I am not seeing any Mr. MudKat.. you also never answered me about what the heck happened to Santos-Silva that he went from looking horrible last year to being your big this year? And mobley seems to be playing very bleh this year. I thought he was going to be really good eventually for you guys

Well I felt I got the topic back on bball with you guys but that quickly went the other way. Haha. Anyways to answer the Silva question....Really not sure. Of course he gets a lot more minutes this year due to Tillman being gone but man the guy has greatly improved even in the last 2 months. Coach R does say he is the first in the gym and the last to leave so maybe he is just busting his a** and it is showing. While his free throws are still pretty terrible he has greatly improved on his footwork/shot. Last year the guy would have problems making a shot passed 3 feet but this year he has greatly improved.
The other question about Mobley is the jury is still out. Last year even as a Freshman and limited minutes the guy was one of the best passes on the team. He also would drain some good looks from 3 as well for a 6"9 guy. While he was hurt a little earlier in the year he has been exactly that..."bleh" Hopefully with more work and time he can turn it around but still a true sophomore so should come in time.

Mobley reminds me of a player we use to have, Marko. He's not going to wow anyone with his athleticism like that Toppin kid at Dayton. If he can get to what Marko became, a does a little bit of everything fairly well, he could be good for vcu.

We of course could lose this game. They are at home after their own bye week and know how big this game is, but on paper this is one to feel pretty good about. Their three leading scorers are all terribly inefficient offensive players and I think we are slightly overestimating MSS in the post. He's vastly improved from a guy most of their fans thought might transfer a year ago, but he's still a 9 and 7 guy, not a 18 and 10 guy.

With us playing four guards and really two ball handlers at virtually all times we should be able to manage their pressure (insert warning about refs allowing too much at Siegel) and defensively we should be able to frustrate them into a lot of ugly possessions. I think I'll feel a lot better if we reach the first media timeout with a lead and without Justin or Javon picking up an early cheap foul.

Good luck to those headed south for it. Hopefully you got all your shots ahead of time.

Yep, all I needed to know to predict this line was look at Kenpom. Oh and for those here that things your D is shut down, talk to us when you get in the top 40 in D efficiency. We are top 10 and have been. Score more than 65 on us and I'll color myself shocked.
Vegas Insider has vcu as a 7.5 point favorite, over/under 132.5

Other than continuing to troll you guys, which btw is just as fun this year as it was last year, I’m going to have to catch the game later...fam stuff to take care of. Enjoy man, won’t be surprised if you guys win.
