Mckillip said that 4 of the 6 games last night the road team won. That said it can’t bode well for those who ventured out to check out Mason for the first time this season.

As far as the game, mason couldn’t move the ball on offense, too many wild layups, contested threes and one shot opportunities. On defense they didn’t defend and get out in front of shooters quick enough, and couldn’t help at all on defense when Davidson got inside. Not going to win many games with this recipe.

Like it or not, DP is the coach. He is under contract for 5 more years. I highly doubt Mason has the funds to buy out his contract even if they really wanted to, especially without your big lawyer bucks.

You do nothing but hurt your own with your constant negativity. If you are the prototypical Mason fan, what player would want to play for us?

We are not consistently competing at the level that we are capable of. That is unacceptable. But, what can we do about it? Bitching and moaning isn’t going to help anything, so I suggest you learn to grin and bear it.

Noticed no one here has given props to Davidson. They are a complete team with a great big, good young guards with great size and a legendary coach. Hopefully the team can learn a few things from this a** whooping. Kier and Boyd have been great disappointments these past few games.

His downward trend may be my biggest player concern at the moment.

Between that and Kier’s inability to make a perimeter shot. The defense doesn’t have to respect him out there which makes space in the lane even harder to come by. What happened to the guy that shot almost 40% from there last season? I know he didn’t shoot a lot of them last year so it’s a small sample, but to not have made a single 3 by now is shocking.

The guard from Iceland is really good, but yeah they play an efficient offense, beautiful shot selection, move the ball well, and their defense gave Mason fits today.

Also good today- it was a noon game and it was over in less than 1 hour and 45 minutes.

This is something I have been wondering for a while. The game is out of hand, Davidson put their walk on's in, Paulsen should do the same. My seat neighbor thinks that Paulsen is punishing his players by keeping them in when the game is out of hand. I mean, Paulsen had to get walk on's just to have practice because of the all the players that transferred, should let them play when the time allows.
