Coach Paulsen also likes to see players pass the ball. DeAndre has a total of 6 career assists, none this season.

I think this stat from Pablo speaks volumes. As much as Paulsen stresses defense, he's also about moving the ball around offensively to create the most high-percentage shot possible. It's kind of mind-boggling that a guy who has played a combined 718 minutes and taken 239 shots over the past two seasons only has 6 total assists.

I'm not sure how airing a player's dirty laundry on these boards is helpful to him or to the team.

I trust Coach Paulsen to put the best players on the court. That's his job. I support all of the young men on our roster, but I'm not going to second guess his decisions. I'm sure DeAndre knows what he has to do to see more playing time, and if he's unhappy with his role, he'll do something about it. The details of all that probably aren't any of our business.

I see this game as a test of Paulsen's ability to motivate the team. We are better than Longwood in just about every respect (maybe all). If we lay an egg, it is only because the team wasn't focused/energized for this game.
