I'm more concerned if he doesn't recruit someone with "Vaughn" in his name. After all I think the team has had that name association for at least 6 or 7 years straight.

So, I'm actually very much on board with this hire. I am of the belief that at the mid major level you have to have a teacher who knows his system and knoour new coach has literally written the book on and made videos about his offensw, and can therefor be assumed to be an authority.

that, combined with the fact that his often seems to generate a lot of three pointers, which is still under valued if you believe the advanced stats guys.

I don't think you go 51-15 over a four year stretch on accident in any league. We'll have to see if he can recruit at the A-10 level, but for now I'm very happy with someone who will have some semblance of an offensive/defensive strategy.

I'm only slightly exaggerating when I say that my buddies and I could have done a better coaching job than Hewitt over the past four years, so I would have been happy with anyone. The fact that we got a good x's and o's guy makes me ecstatic.

Oh please - he was close with Turner but his wife kaibashed the deal. BBB has to deal with the left over stank from TOC and Merten and Hewitt. At least he did get aggressive and did a competent search where we didn't go what the f**k?

Look forward to beating vcu and getting out of the A-10 cellar. We have a road to go but I believe we will make it.
