Seconded. I had a source when I was "Inside" the Mason program (who was actually a coach with the team and even his info was wrong sometimes). Either way, he read the boards and knew I posted, and actually told me he didn't care if some less sensitive stuff ended up there, but NEVER mention his name. It's not like we were good friends, and he wasn't leaking anything private (like, if I knew it, dozens or more other people did), but absolutely did not want his name associated with any information on a fan message board. I bet your folks feel similarly.

I know, but, in the heat of the moment, I needed to prove a point. One of my sources doesn't know me and wouldn't be able to identify me and the other knows what information he can divulge and what he can't.

I want to make one thing clear. I did not state any predictions about who is staying or leaving, etc. I stated that I heard information from two people who prominently serve Mason Basketball regarding the disposition of players on the team. I reported what I was told to the members of this forum. I reiterate that I did not make any assumptions, presumptions, or prognostications.

Upon TBlack reading my posts, I get summarily attacked for making inane suppositions. When I am attacked I am going to mount a fierce counter attack. Again, I reported what I heard then I got gobsmacked because of it — I didn't say it, I only repeated it. Rhetorically speaking, is that fair? No. Certainly, I have been around long enough not to believe everything that I hear. However, I believe the persons that I heard information from are credible individuals and I felt that their statements to me needed to be retold. The moral is, "Don't shoot the messenger."

Yes,, my counter attacks are viscous. But keep in mind, I don't like it when people project their own reading comprehension deficiencies upon the credibility of the writer. Again, is that fair? No.

I apologize in kind, and to T'Black, for overeacting. It's a problem that I am trying to correct.

Didn’t mean any actual offense by any of the above, like I’ve said before there’s only a couple dozen of us mason fans left so no need for us to take personal jabs at each other for differences in opinion on our current situation. Folks, I have it on VERY STRONG authority from a HIGHLY REPUTABLE source that ALL of the players that are eligible to return next season want to return. Additionally, it was related to me that if everyone wants and is able to stay then Coach Dave and the AD will find a way to keep them. Yes, this includes Justin Kier, Ian Boyd, AJ Wilson, and surprisingly, JDS.

It turns out that the players have much deeper faith in, and affinity for, Coach Dave than
some (ever assuming) Mason fans do. Hmmmmmm?...

My sources are telling me that Strop outing Ruge as his insider is the reason for this move. Ruge was given the opportunity to leave gracefully instead of being fired. Brad hates leaks.

Some time ago, he posted on this forum... a lot. But there were too many negative dopes on this forum who chased him away.

In essence, it looks as if JDS did not want to stay. Or, perhaps, JDS did want to stay, but found it impractical. Why are these concepts so difficult for some of you to understand? So what if Bill was possibly incorrect in his assessment? I stand by my willingness to contribute meaningfully rather than make assumptions.
