Wouldn't it be the ultimate Paulsen thing to start next year with an open scholarship? Say not only do boyd/kier not return, but we have a transfer or two and then struggle to fill out the roster. Based on his history, that seems much more likely than the "everyone comes back" scenario.

Weren't we also recently linked to another 2020 recruit? Could it be because we don't actually expect everyone back?

I don't care what you contribute in terms of cash to me or the university. When I made an attempt at a Cheer Guide, I was unemployed and could not afford to spend $250 for photocopying services. This whole argument started when you stated everyone is coming back including Kier and Boyd (where math, NCAA policy and common sense don't back that up)and then hours later you back tracked and got called out for it. That sounds like wild assumption and fantasy to me. As much as we like to think we are absolutely right, we all talk to different people that can be wrong sometimes.

Like someone said earlier "There are about 15 real fans left we should spend less time attacking each other". So I apologize for my negative comments towards you. I get you love the program and tried last year to get students more involved much like the ByGeorge guys do on a regular basis.

Our students suck as do the majority of our elderly fans. It is a tough realization for most of us as times have changed since the L days and even early Hewitt when many of us were still excited.

Time is ticking on my donating patience ( I am not rich but I am also not a 22 year old loser with no job like P8triotfan stated)

Not to be captain save a h*& to another man but I probably wouldn't have kept donating while serving our country overseas and then moving to another state far away for two years like TBlack did in order to give his seats away to other potential donors (one actually bought full season tix because of experience). So I think some of your judgment is misplaced. He simply said what you said was backtracking and that neither scenario can legally work (which it absolutely can't)

I don't call Paulsen a fat chubby MT Dew drinking loser like some of our really negative fans. I just don't think this job in the A10 for a school like ours is for him. 5 years is proof in the pudding. A Shevon Thompson level big man recruit (I get he improved him a ton) is not walking through that door and never will be. I am also saddened about the recent Javon Greene stuff and hope that will calm down as we will be pretty shitty next year if we are without Javon (unlikely), Kier and Boyd. That puts a lot of pressure on 3 freshman and the virtually unknown Daddy.

It is time to move on from Paulsen and I am sure he will find success back in the patriot league or lower equivalent.

I want to make one thing clear. I did not state any predictions about who is staying or leaving, etc. I stated that I heard information from two people who prominently serve Mason Basketball regarding the disposition of players on the team. I reported what I was told to the members of this forum. I reiterate that I did not make any assumptions, presumptions, or prognostications.

Upon TBlack reading my posts, I get summarily attacked for making inane suppositions. When I am attacked I am going to mount a fierce counter attack. Again, I reported what I heard then I got gobsmacked because of it — I didn't say it, I only repeated it. Rhetorically speaking, is that fair? No. Certainly, I have been around long enough not to believe everything that I hear. However, I believe the persons that I heard information from are credible individuals and I felt that their statements to me needed to be retold. The moral is, "Don't shoot the messenger."

No offense Jack, but you really shouldn’t be dropping people’s names here who are connected to the AD. If somebody really did give you info about our players, I’m willing to bet they won’t anymore after seeing you identify “sources” by name here.
