It's been rumored, but neither school has made an announcement.

What school are we talking about? If its Catholic, then the rumor was regarding Kelly, not Fischer. And it looks like that wasnt true.

Paulsen should bring back Hewitt as an assistant. Thoughts?

Sure man, but it would be kinda awkward watching Hewitt chuckle about being paid more than the head diet mountain dew drinker.

I just applied under the name Chank Neville Stank III (Chank N. Stank) I got a response too:

"Mr. Stank,

Thank you for applying to our Head Basketball Coach position at Catholic University. Your application will be reviewed and if your skills and experience match, you will be contacted by the Pope for an in person interview at Vatican City.

If selected for an interview, you must bear all costs for travel expenses and lodging and will not be reimbursed. However, you will be eligible for a 10% discount at the Vatican gift shop with a minimum purchase of $100 dollars (€88.86). Sales of Indulgences are 50% off until Easter.

If hired, you must pay for the cost of basketballs and minimum 10 replacement nets.

Thank you,

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Way to harsh.

I was reading through the bios of Hewitt’s staff, and they all sound so impressive. Roland Houston stood out the most. During his time at George Washington University, Houston was part of three NCAA tournament bids while winning two Atlantic 10 Tournament Championships and a regular season conference championship. Including a undefeated A10 season. Eventually promoted to an Associate Head Coach. So to me this says he played a vital role in their glory days.

Also played a big role at La Salle. He recruited Gary Neal who eventually went on to play in the NBA. He also recruited Steven Smith who was the A10 player of the year twice.

thankfully Fischer already has left... they need to bring in a reasonable recruiter to get the guys Paulsen says he "currently doesn't have"

Cherry would definitely be a potential fit to go get some recruits. He’s been an assistant for already two tenors at mason. Nobody knows if Kelly is leaving yet but judging from that the rumor didn’t grow fast it’s probably not true.

Dave, something that might help the team next year:

I just noticed that all sixteen teams in the sweet sixteen have the players’ names on the back of the jersey.
