According to that logic, why should we care for the poor. They pay very little in taxes, so why should they get a voice..
THAT MAKES NO SENSE IN THE CONTEXT OF A BASKETBALL DISCUSSION

Can you guys also please put DJ3 and Mason Lawyer on ignore so these threads can make sense to me again? (I don't see their posts unless it's quoted, makes it very confusing)
come on broAccording to that logic, why should we care for the poor. They pay very little in taxes, so why should they get a voice..
I'll defend you.I dunno Mason Lawyer might sue me. Can't take that risk.
Obviously I'm not articulate with my words. I think Mason is heading into the right direction.
Try thinking about it this way. Kids who have parents who expect straight As tend to study a tad harder then then the student who has parents who don't give a shit.
Wise Decision my man!I dunno Mason Lawyer might sue me. Can't take that risk.
Mason better be dancing next year or he will be in the hot seat. One last point I was thinking about in response to the "where are our standards" argument.
If we were seriously considering this season a failure and were unhappy with Coach Paulsen's results this season to the point of putting him on the hot seat, who in their right mind would want to replace him and coach here? The man was probably runner up for A-10 COY.
Trolling is most effective when you don't repeat yourself over and over again. Stir the pot a bit my friend.Mason better be dancing next year or he will be in the hot seat.

I have a bag of money that says you are clueless.
I think the biggest effect it has is taking away the one and one from the game.So... what did you all think of the experimental rule of resetting the team fouls at the 10-minute mark of each half?
The rule didn't really have an impact on the game, but I thought the transition was awkward. I guess I could get used to it.

Not related to the CBI Rules, but I don't know where else to talk about it.
I don't like the "freedom of movement" fouls. The guys can barely play defense without getting called for a foul.
The league tends to think this will improve scoring. But it has been my observation that the game has slowed down due to all the foul calls. Players will adapt, but more and more teams play freshman.
I also don't think we need more scoring, I like close games that come down to the wire. I might be alone but I rather watch a game that's 50-55 then 80-60.
When you make rule changes to improve an aspect of the game, generally the better team is able to distance themselves better.
** I also know the freedom of movement fouls actually help our team because we are a driving team. But I am just talking about general basketball.
What about a 75-70 game? I don't care how high the point total is, I think everyone would agree that a 5 point game is more exciting than a 20 point game... Unless Mason is playing... I want them winning everything by 20Not related to the CBI Rules, but I don't know where else to talk about it.
