CBI or CIT?

Not related to the CBI Rules, but I don't know where else to talk about it.
I don't like the "freedom of movement" fouls. The guys can barely play defense without getting called for a foul.
The league tends to think this will improve scoring. But it has been my observation that the game has slowed down due to all the foul calls. Players will adapt, but more and more teams play freshman.

I also don't think we need more scoring, I like close games that come down to the wire. I might be alone but I rather watch a game that's 50-55 then 80-60.

When you make rule changes to improve an aspect of the game, generally the better team is able to distance themselves better.

** I also know the freedom of movement fouls actually help our team because we are a driving team. But I am just talking about general basketball.

But bumping cutters has always been a foul. They just didn't used to call it very often. Drexel used to get away with a lot of bumping and grabbing and it really kicked up the game (46-44 type stuff).

What about a 75-70 game? I don't care how high the point total is, I think everyone would agree that a 5 point game is more exciting than a 20 point game... Unless Mason is playing... I want them winning everything by 20

Yeah, I just tend to think rule changes like this just make it that much easier for the superior team to pull away. Most people would prefer the better team to win, but I like close games and upsets haha.

We would be calling Clyde Drexler and Hakeem Olajuwon NCAA Champions if the double bonus had been in play in 1983.

You bring back those memories of the first NCAA final I ever watched. Damn NC State! I'm still angry at that one.
