Quinn-Irons Named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week - George Mason University Athletics

FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason junior outfielder James Quinn-Irons was named Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday night.

"Quinn-Irons earned the honor for the second time this season. The Reston, Va. native went 11-for-16 at the plate over four games to help the Patriots extend their winning streak to nine games.

In George Mason's NCAA record-setting game against Holy Cross, Quinn-Irons was 3-for-4 with a double, four RBI and two runs scored. The Patriots set the NCAA Division I record for most runs in an inning with 23 in the bottom of the second against Holy Cross.

Quinn-Irons had three multi-hit games with his sixth home run of the season, six RBI and seven runs scored in three weekend games at the DMV Classic held at Capital One Park in Tysons, Va.

Quinn-Irons finished the week with 10 RBI, one double, one triple, a home run, nine runs scored and three walks."
