By the way, there is no way the AAC is ranked higher than the Pac 12. Again, the AAC is like 4 teams at the top and then a bunch of chattal at the bottom.

Yep. We are 4 to 6 deep most years. However the A10 doesn’t have any teams who dominate any more like the WCC or AAC. I put us 8th behind the AAC because we don’t have a Cincy of WSU.

Uconn is a joke. That basketball program is going nowhere unless they go back to the big east or maybe ACC. I’m wondering if the school told Hurley that move is in the works and the thought of being a big east or acc coach tipped the scale. For the record I don’t hate UCONN, but I do hate that they left the big east to chase football money- same for Cuse.

Pitt is another level of dumpster fire so I’m not surprised he passed that up. That is a true do-over for the program.

Why do you say that? Cincinnati was able to claim a 2 seed. Houston got a 6 seed and only last by one point to Michigan. Wichita State earned a 4 seed. Temple in the NIT.

Get UConn in the mix and that is a pretty solid conference.

Agreed. American is more than solid in the top and middle and UConn has fielded 3 national championship teams this century -- the same number as both Duke and UNC (two other programs that are apparently "jokes")

We would need fewer 5 digit and up donors if we had more small donations from more people (donations under $200). I do think the AD has been better at going after those small donations and it seems like it has begun to pay off.

Adam Zagoria reports on twitter that Pitt interviewed Bonaventure coach Mark Schmidt yesterday. Schmidt is 55 and this is probably his last chance to cash out. He's losing his top two scorers and his third (Courtney Stockard) has graduated, so there's no guarantee he sticks around either.

Matt Brady sounds like a great choice. I miss seeing that “ugh not again” look on his face when his teams constantly lose at eagle bank arena. He had that look when lasalle got blown out two years ago.
