Well, we have three coaches in the A-10 that have been around for over 10 years. Some coaches would like to stay in one place, maybe?

RI isn't that big and the Dunkin' Donuts Center isn' that far. Most concerts probably go there and allow the team to practice in the arena most days. A quick glance at their calendar suggests they don't hold many outside events.

Hurley, 45, will replace Kevin Ollie, who was let go by the Huskies earlier this month after a fourth sub-par season.

Hurley will inherit a roster that has been depleted with defections and poor recruiting. Terry Larrier has announced he will leave to turn pro, and Adams, the team's top player, has been noncommittal whether he will return.

That is an amazing offer offer URI tried to counter with. But the article only mentions what Pitt offered (3 million) not what he will be getting at Uconn.

We are getting there. I can't compare our giving to URI for 2017, because USA Today doesn't have 2017 posted right now, but in 2016 URI had about $1.8 million in contributions and we had $1.7 million in 2017.

The way I see it the A10 is the ninth best conference.

2. SEC
3. Big 12
4. Big East
5. Big Ten
6. AAC
7. Pac 12
8. West Coast Conference- I know this will get everyone upset. But don't forget Gonzaga and St Mary’s.
9. A10/Mountain West.

The West Coast Conference is a joke past Gonzaga. They actually finished below the CAA in overall conference RPI this year, and that was during a particularly down year for the A10 with coaching turnover and injuries to expected good teams (namely St. Joes).

By the way, there is no way the AAC is ranked higher than the Pac 12. Again, the AAC is like 4 teams at the top and then a bunch of chattal at the bottom.
