Yeah... I was watching that thinking "that could be us getting waxed by Richmond right now"

Actually, Duquesne is a #10 because of a tie-breaker with URI. Had we beaten Duquesne in the last game, we would have been tied with URI, but they would be a #10 and we would be an #11. So we would be playing UMass. Actually may have been a decent match up for us.
RI and UMass are in a literal slugfest with elbows flinging and bodies flying. Refs are doing all they can to swallow their whistles, but it's getting pretty heated. Rhode Island up 3 with 5:39 left on CSN.
Update: UMass rallies to win by 4. Much tougher game than they needed with a rested GW looming tomorrow.

I can't believe vcu knows how to think outside the box and Mason can't. This goes back to the days of the CAA tourney, it would be a struggle to get students to go there, and vcu not only does this, but Pav tweeted a pic earlier today that you can see their school posters and fans in the background of "The Today Show".
I realize this season was lousy for all of us, but when we get good (and it will happen once the right things fall into place), this is the type of thing Mason should be doing.

It seems like even with the short stay Mason was out utilizing the Green Machine, trying to recruit students, etc. I'm not sure of details but it seems like they were out and about to get attention. Obviously it isn't as much because the team lost etc

Mason 2K1--did you mean to say that you hate that nice guys never win? Because I believe this year, we had nice players and a nice coach, the issue was, in my opinion, that we didn't seem to have many players that would give their left testicle to consistently grab a rebound, take a charge, land a hard screen, run a play, or give 100 percent each and every play of each and every game. Those players were led by a coach(s) that seemed to have little to no fire, was ill-prepared, lacked a basic knowledge of the game to effectively adjust to the opponent and instilled little to no desire in his team to have them run through a wall for him and the university they represented. I like nice guys but it does suck that they don't seem to win.
I sure do miss the days when fans were complaining about our logo. It was nice when that was the type of issue we were worried about.
I thought that was reserved for Catholic priests. Oh wait, I just did a search and St. Bonaventure is a Catholic school.
Haha, nice Freudian slip. In non-related A10 news, Illinois is up 2 on Michigan on ESPN with 1:30 left. Huge bubble implications for Illinois.
UPDATE: Michigan just scored to take a 1-point lead. Illinois now has the ball with 3 seconds left.
FINAL: Illinois misses a shot at the buzzer. Michigan survives.

UPDATE: St. Louis just countered with a 3 to tie. St. Bonny has the ball with 20 seconds left.
HOLY SHIT: St. Bonny just hit a 3 at the buzzer to knock off St. Louis. The #1 seed is going home!
GREAT GAME.....WOW! There is no better time of year as far as sports are concerned.
