Highly doubt it from the look of the renderings. Seems unfair to the soccer team as well. That would severely f**k up the field. Plus I think Cabrera/Edwards are forward thinking enough to realize soccer will only continue to grow and there's still room to get in on the ground level and build a class program before the popularity explosion hits. That means giving them their own nice facility.I'm not surprised by that at all. I would assume the hope would be to be as close to cost neutral as possible, and any financial costs being a trade off for increased atmosphere/interest in school/etc.
Wonder if the proposed new soccer stadium would be able to accommodate football as well (I think the scheduling should be workable for all 3 teams), with ability to expand in future if expansion is warranted.
For football I think everyone would be fine with something akin to JMU: a 25k seater and competitive in 1AA. Would love to have a solid rivalry with them.
