In addition to yearly surveys to fans, and everything he did after a year or two. Pretty good to me, next up will be the locker rooms, phase 2 of the practice facility, and maybe a plan for a full upgrade to the arena?

love all the basketball upgrades. overall, I would love to see us go with an Oakland A's color scheme, ditch the star-only and a cleaner look with our logo. Not a fan of the wave patterns seen on the branded-bus, the tarps covering the seats in the corner of the arena, the walls on each side of the pull-out bleachers, wind fences used at outside athletic facilities, etc.

Can't attribute the endowment growth necessarily to football. vcu's endowment is $1.6 billion (it grew 203% in 2013 due to restructuring of assets). JMU's is $80 million.

It’s a shame athletic directors don’t get shown the love the way players and coaches do. Edwards has done an enormous amount of work in such a short time. It’s a shame we’ll lose him at some point.

I think we need to write the administration and have his contract beefed up. I don't want to lose him.

A Jollay approach would be to deliver a bevy of hookers and bourbon to his office every other Thursday.

Maybe give him a Porsche.

Agreed - the man has brought a vision and discipline to the AD.

I think no matter what we do he’s gone after we get back to the tourney. He’s a football guy, he’ll get an offer from a decent P5 school that can afford to pay him beyond what we could even on a bumper contract. Not a knock on him, I’d leave too. He’s not a Mason alum. He’s given us a ton and owes us nothing.
