Other posters seem to be hinting at this question in other threads (game day experience thread and survey thread). So, other than hiring Dave Paulsen (in my opinion the most important job for Brad Edwards) are people seeing any concrete progress by the Athletic Department on topics that impact the men's basketball program?
Some areas, off the top of my head, where progress would be most welcome:
Fundraising, specifically for items that impact men's basketball
Practice facility
Game day experience
Arena upgrades
No clue in terms of fundraising where the basketball programs are at, but I know there have been more events to help fund raise for the program (Final Four Dinner, the event in the fall etc). I suspect it has improved but I don't have numbers or anything factual to back that up.
As far as the practice facility, last I heard they weren't close to the fundraising number. That said, it is very quiet just like the fundraising for the baseball stadium as they seem to be targeting big donors. My understanding is the facility is priority #1.
The gameday experience has been fixed somewhat by the product on the court, but much of the activities remain the same. Its nice to see the hype videos in the corners and I did hear that there was talk of trying to get some sort of LCD video panels. But I have no idea where that's at as with the arena upgrades. Someone needs to talk to someone in charge and have the news trickle around..
That said I have to say whenever I give money or need something, always very responsive and get constant thank yous for support, even if its as simple as asking for tax information. Never hounded for additional money and being thankful is good stuff.
