We must be bucking up some major dollars if we are leading to get him
Jeff Ermann, Terps insider, is predicting Deshawn Harris Smith to Mason.
Could be.We must be bucking up some major dollars if we are leading to get him
Maybe that's why the donations to the vision day were low.We must be bucking up some major dollars if we are leading to get him
Landing one of these guys would be huge, but does Mason really stand a chance of getting a lottery pick type player? Not trying to be negative. Honest question.Could be.
Steve curran latest activity indicates Mason may be communicatipn with 2 lottery level potential bigs and their agents
They include
6'11 Florida State transfer Christian Nitu
7'1 Dame Salane

Lottery level potential..in other words..both very skilled..but unproven class of '24 rising sophomores at the college level...either one might get the PT to prove themselves at Mason. Especially in the A10 which doesn't have alot of great bigs.Landing one of these guys would be huge, but does Mason really stand a chance of getting a lottery pick type player? that is a key point missing in all of these transfer portal decisions. We must be bucking up some major dollars if we are leading to get him
I don’t know. What’s the going rate for a guard that is 20% from 3 and 50% from the line? Can’t be that much.We must be bucking up some major dollars if we are leading to get him
This is why I'd just wish we could get to the point where we have employment contracts. Risk/reward for both sides. Make the minimum 2 years.Nice generalization, but for many players the open transfer rules are a lifeline to be able to find a spot where they can make an impact. While the constant turnover is annoying, it also gives coaches who are effective at roster-building a chance to reload more quickly and even upgrade the overall talent.
I liked getting to follow players’ development over four years as much as anyone, but what I really want is for Mason to have a winning team and Tony has proven he knows how to build a winner in this current system. Unfortunately that means some guys have to go.
Who are you referring to?I don’t know. What’s the going rate for a guard that is 20% from 3 and 50% from the line? Can’t be that much.
Who are you referring to?
Better than when we had a lineup of tbd lolMason line-up as of 4/5/25.
1 - Justin Begg
2 - Brayden O’Connor & Devin Booker
3 - Jermahri Hill
4 - Stas Sivka & Dola Adebayo
5 - Gio Emejuru & Emannuel Kanga
Ouch...that's bad for a 4 star.Deshawn Harris-Smith.
