The URI road loss is so frustrating, don't think they are good... definitely should of won that game.

GW is better than we think. Gonna be 2 tough games against GW.

Slightly better? We could be very good if we just limited our turnovers, but we are who we are so we are slightly above average.

But anyone can win this conference at this point. Here’s to hoping an advantageous “home court“ and some heroics can push us over the top this year.

Our defense is great but can get quickly cancelled out by our mindless and turnover loving offense at times, and considering we're well into the season at this point I don't think that's going to change. It's hard to envision right now us being able to sustain quality play at both ends of the floor to enable us to go on an extended streak or pull off what we need to in DC.

Us cutting out turnovers reminds me of the old Daniel Tosh joke “oh so you’re bad at taking tests? You mean you’re stupid”

You make your own luck. Thomas shimmy shook BOC to get by him so he could get that last shot off (and was fouled so even if he missed the circus shot he was going to the line either way).

Yes he got in front of O’Connor, who was lunging to try to get in front of Thomas and pinned his left arm, which is why he heaved with one.

Two, we got to 34 points with 1:42 left in the first half. From that point on, we are outscored by 15 by URI and it’s not like URI scored a ton of points after that.

Our defense is great. I know I'm more pessimistic (although I prefer the term "realist") about this team, but I'm not going to take credit away from them regarding defense.

To your point though, I did notice in the URI game that most of the turnovers we force result in out-of-bounds or three second violations which means we have to run our offense, which is the opposite of great. We don't get a ton of points in transition. It's a first world problem.
