Might take a peak on Sunday at 1: UMass at Dayton on ESPN2. May give us a sense of how good UMass is this year--10 pt underdogs according to Kenpom.

UMass is pretty good...tough in the paint and Cohen and Cross are players. Trailed by double digits for most of the game, but made a run in the last 5 minutes as Dayton's offense went stagnant, missing an injured Kobe Elvis for the second half.
They look to be a contender for a top 4 spot.

Playing UMass at their place will be a tall task for us.

Agreed - UMass and Dayton are very strong teams - very strong. That game yesterday was a great one to watch. It will be interesting to see how LaSalle does against them.

From what I can tell, it's not yet clear how long Elvis will be out. And unlike pro football, we're not likely to hear any details unless, like Hopkins at Providence, he's out for the year.

You're right---the A10 needs Dayton to keep winning now that they are on the brink of making it into the top 25 poll.

Elvis started last night for the Flyers against Duquesne who they beat by 10 with Holmes getting 30+ pts. Elvis only played 19 minutes scoring just 1 pt, no assists, 4 rebounds. Didn't see the game, so I don't know if he was less than 100% while recovering from the injury but clearly his numbers indicate not much of a contributor.
10 in a row for Dayton, who are likely to break into the top 25 this week.
