Not going all that well for the A10 tonight:
In addition to Fordham's loss and GW's narrow win against a team that now has lost 11 in a row---
URI loses at home by 10 to New Hampshire
St Joe's loses by 7 at Charleston
Richmond wins at home by 5 over Buffalo but fails to cover
Davidson wins at home by 3 over So. Carolina Upstate but fails to cover
With neither team being impressive, UMass trails Ga Tech by 6 at the half. But at least they're playing in Hawaii--currently playing on ESPN2
UMASS up 10 with 9 mins to go. GT sucks but solid win if UMASS can hang on
UMASS blows it, loses to GT.

Terrible loss for UMass as a win would have guaranteed them a game against either TCU or Nevada.

i thought Coach C made some critical mistakes at the end of the 3rd OT
Buchanon gave up a breakaway layup but then scored on a dunk to tie it up in OT3
GW took good shots - but they didnt fall - to start OT4

( i have partial season tix to GW - 7 games this season)
Kenpom now lists Mason tied with UMass for 3d and projects them as 11-7 in the conference as well as St. Joe's. Dayton and Bonnies are 1 & 2.
We were projected as 10-8 for the past several weeks. UMass kenpom ranking is 98, we're now 91 (from 100 before LaSalle).
Saw the last 10 minutes of the Bonnies winning comfortably at vcu--they looked good for sure and made 12 threes in the game and not very many TOs until the last few minutes. But not so many that there was any chance of losing the game.
