Actually, this is helping build towards next year.Cool, they finished 9th and here's another one year guy that isn't helping build towards anything next year.

We heard the same about Ticket and he lasted for just the first half of the season
Things changed after that missed layup against Richmond. Also, he hadn't played those kind of minutes in about 3 years. He got tired, just like the rest of the team. It happens.

[Oduro] Fat and raw, DP making moves!
Oduro is a project at best
Too elegant and nice of a way to say that Gunnie. We have heard about how bad those guys were for months from some folks here. There isn’t a knowledgeable person in the country that wouldn’t trade Bailey for Hartwell or Gray (no disrespect to those two).

So you're saying he will be coming off the bench? I kinda doubt thatThere isn’t a knowledgeable person in the country that wouldn’t trade Bailey for Hartwell or Gray (no disrespect to those two).
Our new PG will not be Tyree Appleby. He is staying at Florida for his extra COVID year.
Apologies for quoting myself, but if JF is good enough to beat out one of two sixth-year players (Cooper or Bailey) for a starting spot as a freshman, I wouldn’t complain about that either.Very underrated benefit of this move. Pretty much everyone has assumed JF will just be handed a starting spot, but that might not be the best thing for him or the program. Adding another veteran guard who is physically a grown man and has played in two major conferences will allow the young guys to develop without being forced into starter minutes before they are ready.
Pretty sure we didn't land JF by saying maybe you'll get some minutes off the bench as a freshmanApologies for quoting myself, but if JF is good enough to beat out one of two sixth-year players (Cooper or Bailey) for a starting spot as a freshman, I wouldn’t complain about that either.
Best players play. The only coaches who don’t ascribe to that philosophy are the ones looking to get fired.Pretty sure we didn't land JF by saying maybe you'll get some minutes off the bench as a freshman
KE has said as much before. Minutes are earned. I’m all for him filling the roster with talented transfers and letting it all play out.Best players play. The only coaches who don’t ascribe to that philosophy are the ones looking to get fired.
Little Oduro has to be viewed as a “what if he turns into his brother” play, purely upside. We also could add 6-9 Elvis Nnaji in the 2022 class as a developmental big to potentially take over for Josh … hopefully we won’t have to worry about it for two more years but more likely one.KE has said as much before. I also think he needs to get a big that has some years of eligibility for when Oduro graduates. l don’t consider Peter as the filler for Josh in a years time.
