To be completely fair, discipline/work ethic issues aside, the pure talent was there. Before he took one of the hardest falls I’ve seen in awhile in college basketball, he was dominant. The fact that he’s top 10 in mason history in multiple defensive categories despite only really playing 2 and a half seasons is pretty impressive. But I understand the sentiment given all the other issues.

Kordell Charles- slight chance. 4 that was apparently hurt and lost a year of offers that have now picked up since he went to IMG
Markus Ilver- 0 chance in hell
McFarlane- Porn lover and 24 year old sophomore transfer that has 2 low major offers

They just gave him a sixth year, which he will be free to use at the P6 school of his choice ... watch him win Most Outstanding Player at the Final Four like Luke did FML

I was just talking with someone about this today, I’m already mentally preparing for it. This is going to be a painful offseason for us if we watch some great talent walk.

If AJ has the season I think he’s gonna have and decides to stick around for a sixth year at Mason, he’s literally the most loyal athlete on planet Earth.

I will be flabbergasted if that happens.

they gave it for now but have already said they will be revisiting this discussion multiple times. Odds are they have no idea what they are doing due to COVID as most of us don't in our daily lives... I don't see how that is feasible and I am still under the impression this season won't happen but maybe that is the pessimist in me.

I’m not sure what AJ would even gain from a sixth season. He might as well start getting paid in Europe or take his shot at the NBA through the G-league.
