Probably a wise choice. As much we as target low mid major players, these players need to be smart so they don't end up like DP's first few recruits. Being a body is not smart. I'd rather my son stay all four years under the same coach, but be in the right program that will facilitate growth.

What's your grade on DP's recruiting now in year 5? Having as many transfers early on as he did automatically disqualifies him from an A. Not having a true center after 4 years mean he can't get a B.

Richmond just picked up a commitment from PG Isaiah Wilson... offered by Georgetown, Depaul, Rhode Island, La Salle, Bonnies etc.... Chris Mooney sucks...

I think Dave has done a good job recruiting guards into the program.

I believe he and the staff would be the first to admit that they have not been able to recruit a transformational big man to the program. He was able to do it at Williams and Bucknell. It has not happened yet at Mason.

Plenty of good prospects out there still linked to us. Too early to worry too much. Henry, Kolek, Kaleb Scott all seem pretty interested. Lots of others out there. DP reportedly in to see Jalen Celestine today. We’ll see if he can pull a couple more gems out of this recruiting class.

interesting twist on Celestine. He played for Northern Kings AAU, same as Daddy Haidara. Perhaps Bryson Johnson has a good contact with that AAU program.

People have to realize that a lot changes in 3 weeks... much less getting a visit 9 months ago and thinking that still means anything... we are missing a lot of top 5 lists for targets we definitely want that's for sure
