Saint Louis had 21 turnovers against NC State on Thursday night, shot just 44.8% from the field, and 74.2% from the FT line. Still won by 11. Heck of a team.

Jacob Gilyard is the best defensive guard to play in the Atlantic 10 since Briante Weber. His D makes him appointment TV. Richmond/Loyola Chicago tonight in Indy. Sneaky good game.

We all get we might be in for some rough games against the St Louis' and Richmonds of the A10.. but I hope some of you are using your ESPN+ accounts and watching the middle of the road A10 teams. UMASS, Bona, Davidson aren't elite by any stretch of imagination but their games and offensive sets and defensive gameplans all look to make sense (even when they lose). our team is so herkyjerky with seemingly no fluid movements. These other teams don't have those issues. Peep Davidson tonight vs Vandy at 7... and even vcu at 4pm vs JMU. vcu runs a really ugly offense but it still seems to have some identity behind it. Just complete levels between how we look vs how the middle of the pack A10 teams look. St Joe's has even looked decent in some games vs top level competition. They are supposed to suck this year and I don't see much of a difference between them and us.

Also Jahmir Young and Charlotte 18ppg for the guy worse than Xavier Johnson per our insiders and DP face GW tonight. Can't wait to watch him drop 25 tonight and beat yet another A10 team (just beat Davidson)

Yes, I had hoped the offense and defense would have cohesion this season with so many players coming back, but both still look like crap. And there's no excuses like Hewitt trying to institute an NBA style offense with players who aren't NBA players.

DP’s offense is basically NBA style — too reliant on ball screens and being able to beat your man off the dribble. Maybe that’s a big part of the problem.

Jim the offense is essentially AJ and (insert center here) setting weird half ball screens and then nothing happening other than that.. Don't get me started on the zone offense either which looked as if they have never practiced it without Jordan ever in their lives. AJ was confused, the point guards looked horrible in it and maybe it would have been better if Oduro didn't foul every time his man touched the ball, but we will never know.
