Trade insider scheduling info to Rothestein for his media pass. I’m convinced that he’s some sort of vampire and retains his youth by scooping low major pre season scheduling info.Guess I won't see it then probably

Per Jon Rothsteinbot- Mason will play in an MTE in DC with Northeastern, Howard, and UMBC.
Fire away fellas.
Gtown and coaches like Paulsen who pad record with shit preseason would never have thatThis should have been the time to put together a DMV Tournament like the Philadelphia Big 5
Howard, American, GT, GWU
GMU, Virginia
Maryland, UMBC
2 4 team brackets
split so that teams from the same conference dont play each other
and MD/GT dont play each other
3 games per team, 4 games per day
Th-SA of Thanksgiving week
a feast for the locals

If that kind of event was going to happen it would have before now. Georgetown and Maryland have less than no interest in participating and I doubt that’s going to change any time soon.
Looks like we are playing UMD again, according to Rothstein. Dec. 4
Yay for Mason being the cupcake lol
Terps are gonna suck hard. Don’t be surprised if we win that one.

Looks like all non-conference games will be played against local teams. No plane flights.
Good on them, solid article. Whoever thinks william and Mary is 3 hours away needs to look at a map though.http://gmufourthestate.com/2020/10/...erence-schedule-released-for-mens-basketball/

Quote me on it, if we land UVA and Georgetown I will call this a good OOC. I don’t see how it will happen, but if we somehow make it work I will concede that is as solid as an OOC as we’ve had under Dave.We already had JMU on the schedule. I can't imagine us NOT playing them. Did we also have a game set up with ODU (scrolling back through this fun thread looks like we did)...got to imagine we keep that one on the books. If Paulsen could somehow convince UVA and Georgetown to play us, the OOC could be redeemed.
Howard, UMBC, Northeastern + JMU, ODU, UMD, UVA, Georgetown, + <insert I don't care what local team>. That's a workable schedule with some cupcakes, some winnable games, and some tests before conference play. Pull some strings!
Yeah if we land UVA, Georgetown, and UMD in OOC I’d be in favor going the local only route for OOC every year.
