If so, teams like vcu and Dayton will be so screwed. They’re used to having sellouts for every home game.

They aren't only used to it, I'd imagine it plays a big part of their yearly budget. Between ticket sales/donations and advertisements I'll be interested to see what happens to those schools budgets over the next 2 years.

Rhode Island's Fatts Russell tells me that he is withdrawing from the 2020 NBA Draft and will return to school next season. Huge news for David Cox and the Rams. Russell is a potential All-American in 20-21.

The Dukes will be forced to play at least a portion of their 2020-21 schedule without a home floor, as construction delays on the renovations to UPMC Chuck Cooper Fieldhouse will mean that the building will not be ready for the start of the season.

Duquesne head coach Keith Dambrot told Pittsburgh Sports Now that he has games lined up against Furman and East Tennessee State, among others. Duquesne will once again use a variety of home floors as well as play multiple neutral-site games, including the game against Furman.

Dambrot also said that it’s difficult to schedule games in Duquesne’s position as strong mid-major opponent.

'I could give you the list of teams that we’ve contacted to play,' he said. 'And we haven’t had a lot of success.'”

Golden is returning for his senior season at Richmond and has withdrawn from the NBA Draft

Richmond forward Grant Golden has decided to withdraw from the draft and return to school for his senior year, he tells Rothstein (Twitter link). Golden has averaged 15.5 PPG and 6.9 RPG for Richmond in 94 games over his last three seasons.

Richmond’s Jacob Gilyard told me that he will withdraw from the NBA Draft. Gilyard averaged 12.7 points and 5.7 assists and is an elite defender. Richmond ranks 13th in my latest Preseason Top 50:

We're a Q3 road game most seasons. Until we can move into the Q1, Q2 range, there's only downside for any P5 playing us on the road (or really any team with at-large ambitions). We need to go on the road to get these games and prove ourselves first.

definitely, although I agree with what @GMUgemini said. Mason isn’t much of a gain or benefit for a power 5 team other than a cupcake buy game at this point.

I did see that Maine is playing Rutgers too. I suspect they are a cheaper buy game haha.

Meanwhile, a pair of Saint Louis early entrants have also decided to pull out of the 2020 draft pool. According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports (Twitter links), both Jordan Goodwin and Hasahn French have informed them that they’re withdrawing their names and heading back to school for their senior years.

Goodwin was Saint Louis’ leading scorer with 15.5 PPG, while French chipped in 12.4 PPG. Both players averaged double-doubles, with an impressive 10.4 RPG apiece.
