Should be really interesting to see what the league comes up with this season. Most expect H/H's to be paired by location. What 5 teams do you want your A10 team play twice?

Don't the team have some degree of choice?
GWU used to play vcu H/H
But as the GWU program went south and took their RPI with them
i thought vcu stopped the H/Has it was hurting their RPI ??

Other than our first year in the A-10, we've played vcu H/H every year since entering...we actually didn't always play vcu H/H in the CAA.

If we were to pick 5 H/H based on a regional schedule, it would be GW, vcu, Richmond, La Salle, and St. Joes...not a single trip over 175 miles.

Good thought but we would be playing Davidson no matter what since we are 3rd closest team to them

vcu snag transfer big man 6 foot 8 Levi Stockard from Kansas St... he chose vcu over Xavier, Marquette, Cincy and some others. he has 1 year of eligibility left.

Haven’t seen any footage but statistically this guy sucks. Averaged 3.8 points. 16 minutes a game a game for a team that finished 11-21 (3-15 in conference). But with some good offers there must be something good about him. Big body though... similar height and weight as Santos-Silva.

Danny Dixon went to N.C. State...

It seems like P5s at this point will snag just about any player over 6'7 they can get their hands on. He could be really good, though, Denzel Bowles sucked before going to JMU and he wrecked a good CAA (not that that made JMU any better, but still).

for whatever reason they felt the need to get a big man. Considering the quality big men they were after and they got the 7’1 kid, I’m thinking he’s more of a depth player. Hasan ward is supposed to be Larry sanders according to their fans but he definitely has competition.

Duquesne is currently 3 scholarships over... They were 2 over at this point last year and then Dambrot "cut" a couple returners. They had 1 graduate 2 transfer so far and 6 new incoming freshman. I don't know how this is sustainable.....

that means like a double extended offseason on masonhoops. Lol
That I could not deal with! If we do play and fans are allowed in small numbers I'm going to be selfish for once and ask that season ticket holders are the first to get to go. I want something for the tens of thousands I have given over the decades.

Pretty sure all of us season ticket holders would be first priority...

I am just hoping for a season for one. Not having baseball, then not having basketball would really be a bummer.

As long as students will be on campus, which is looking more and more like the case for most universities, there will be a season, I think the real question is will the games be played in empty stadiums or not.

If so, teams like vcu and Dayton will be so screwed. They’re used to having sellouts for every home game.
