We have now had 6 years in a row of being irrelevant and off the national map. The kids we are recruiting were babies when we went to the Final 4 and were just 7, 8, or 9 years old when we danced last. vcu has been every year so they are on the radar of kids. We don't exist.

The one thing we can and should emphasize to the 3 and 4 star recruits is a chance to start right away. Oduro will, and should sit while he learns. Had Wahab come to Mason he would have started immediately. Wahab may come to regret committing to Georgetown because they recruited 3 post players. One of the three will most likely be available shortly.

Doesn’t explain Duquesne who not only hasn’t been since 1977, but whose facilities are in dire need of upgrading. Fordham also regularly gets good players to commit even if they are used as a springboard to a better school.

This doesn't surprise me in the least. Wade has always come across as sleazy and willing to break any rule to get ahead. If the evidence is proven, I hope he is fired, banned permanently from coaching and charged by the legal system. Douchebags like this guy ruin the game and belong nowhere near it.

For as much as Dave's faults are critiqued on these boards (myself included), we should all be thankful we have a coach who does everything by the book on and off the court. You can't measure integrity in the win-loss column.

Yup, if he has to. If Kier/Greene brings the ball up for part of the game fine, but I'd be okay with Hartwell/X.Johnson.

I really frickin' like the kid in this system.

Saw sophomore Matt Lewis of O'Connell/JMU just got third-team CAA. Only underclassman. Really wish Paulsen had gone after/landed him but who knows his story.

The great part is we should not have a need for him to contribute a great deal from day 1. With Hartwell and Kier at the point, it would be nice to bring him along slowly and get adjusted to the speed of the college game. He does seem to have potential, though. Good signing!
