Xavier Johnson had an outstanding game for Episcopal.

From INSIDENOVA:

'[Flint Hill's] game against Episcopal (18-9) was tied seven times, the last at 38-38 at halftime. Episcopal scored the first 10 points of the third quarter, all by Xavier Johnson (33 points, four threes), to take the lead for good. [Episcopal] led 65-50 early in the fourth period... Episcopal’s Johnson scored his team’s first 16 points of the third quarter. He made his first six shots – four being three-pointers. He was 7 of 10 from the floor in the second half and 5 of 6 from the line for 23 second-half points."

So, in Petersburg last night for Episcopal/PVI. Episcopal upset PVI. Granted PVI isn't flat-out dominant minus Roach and Harris but it was impressive.

Would love to get brother Darius and excited about Xavier. X gets to the line constantly against everyone almost at will and I see no reason why he can't do so in the A-10. Explosive and smart. Definitely would also be thrilled to get Darius. He scored a ton of points in the second half, 18 I think, to ice the victory. For a young kid he seems ready to play college ball right now, though his perimeter shot makes me cringe a little.

Oduro was a dirty work guy. Love him trailing on the break and like his hands and his offensive rebounding. Yeah, he might not average double figures ever in Fairfax but I like him, especially when/if he gets stronger and stronger. Space clearer. Not in the game much in the fourth though...

Sounds like another role player. Always nice to have.But Mason needs players who can create their own shot

Oduro I kind of see as a Paris Bennett type, except more 4/5 ish instead of 3/4 ish. Hopefully with more rebounding though, although our guards kind of get that done when the bigs box out. Oduro will definitely box out.

Xavier definitely can create his own shot, and especially get to the line.

Who is this kid and does he have other offers? If we aren't beating top half of league in recruiting, we aren't beating them on the court.

We are his only offer..... That means if he doesn't commit with us he'd rather work at Models after HS.

Saw Oduro on the concourse. Looks like a 15 year old. Hope he knows this is not the Patriot League.
