What doesn’t make sense is that people were pegging them on an upward trajectory, putting them ahead of us. Maybe they want to avoid the slow non conference start and they know they aren’t ready for PrimeTime.

They were in the 200s last year in SOS. I think that is just a Dambrot thing... might not have anything to do with upward trajectory... and I can't blame pundits for having them ahead of us...

I don't know--when they play Navy this year it could be an 80's Old CAA retro night at the RAC. David Robinson could play Kenny Sanders in a pickup game at halftime.

With alot of TLC, AJ would probably be our most competitive right now. He's got the one thing you can't coach, raw athleticism. He fits the current NBA mold too. He's not CURRENTLY fringe, but if he calms down a bit/the game slows down for him then I could see him getting some summer league invites.

Marquise Moore had one of the absolute ugliest shots I have ever seen in D1 basketball and he made the G league.

Looks like Maryland probably won’t get much — if anything — from freshman big man Chol Marial this season. Will miss 3-4 months to repair a stress fracture in both legs, per school.

I finally plugged our games into my calendar and didnt realize we have a 2 week break in December for finals and then another 9 day break before going to TCU. not ideal, imo.

Looks like it was me that wasnt understanding. Reading was never my strongest class....
Bottom line, I don't like it now and I am sure I didnt like it last year either.
